Privacy Policy

Buejee ("we", "us") provides an AI customer-support platform: a website chat widget, WhatsApp and Telegram bots, a dashboard, and an Android app that opens the dashboard in a WebView. This policy explains what information we handle and why. Questions: support@buejee.co.

Two kinds of people

Businesses create a Buejee account to answer their customers. Customers are the people who chat with a business through a widget, WhatsApp or Telegram. For customer chats, the business decides what is collected and why, and Buejee processes it on the business's behalf. If you are a customer and want your data removed, contact the business first, or write to us and we will pass it on.

What we collect

• Business accounts: name, email, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), business name, team members, and billing status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
• Chat content: messages, files you send (images, PDFs and documents), your name, email or phone number if you give them, and your WhatsApp number or Telegram chat ID when you message a connected bot.
• Website visit data (only when the business turns on live visitors): IP address, approximate location (country and city), browser, device type, the pages visited, and the page that referred the visit.
• Connected website data: if a business connects its own website, we receive account details it chooses to share about a customer (such as name or balance) and the results of actions it runs.
• Technical data: session cookie, security logs and error logs.

How we use it

• To run the service: deliver and answer messages, show conversations to the business team, and let the business message visitors.
• To generate AI replies from the business's own knowledge. The text needed for a reply is sent to our AI model provider for that purpose only.
• To keep the service safe: stop abuse, enforce rate limits and investigate problems.
• To send account emails (verification, password reset, billing notices).

We do not sell personal data and we do not show ads.

Who we share it with

Only the providers needed to run the service: AI model providers (to write replies), our hosting and email providers, our payment provider, and the messaging provider the business connects (Telegram, or WasenderAPI for WhatsApp). The business that owns a conversation, and the websites it connects, receive the data of that conversation. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

The dashboard uses one secure session cookie to keep you signed in. The chat widget stores a random visitor ID and chat session in your browser's local storage so your conversation continues on your next visit. We do not use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

• Conversations and files: until the business deletes them or closes its account.
• Live visitor records: 30 days. Page history: 14 days.
• Security and error logs: a short period, then deleted.
• When a business account is deleted, its conversations, files and settings are deleted from our systems, apart from backups that expire on their normal schedule.

Security

Traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. API keys and integration secrets are encrypted. Access to each business's data is limited to that business's own team. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data by emailing support@buejee.co from the address on your account. Businesses can delete conversations and close their account from the dashboard, and can switch off visitor tracking in the widget settings. We reply within 30 days.

Android app

The Android app is a WebView that opens the Buejee dashboard. It uses the same data described above and does not add any other tracking. It needs internet access, and it asks for access to your photos or files only when you choose to attach a file to a chat.

Children

Buejee is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell account owners by email when the changes are important.
